You hear plenty of talk these days about various tools and services that allow you to build links to your website automatically. A lot of them are quite spammy and in my experience, they don’t truly work nicely at all. So is all link building automation bad? No, certainly not. Here are three white hat techniques I use regularly to build links on autopilot.
‘Link To Me’ page
Yet another excellent method is to create a Link To Me page. You will be surprised how many of your readers would be glad to link to you if:
1) They know how to do it.
2) They recognize that it was fine to link to your website.
Build a basic page which points out that you welcome links to your site and then provide them with a few examples and “how to” instructions. You may also want to include a few banners and buttons they can employ to link to you.
To really make it super easy for your readers to link to you, feature a copy and paste HTML code for every link development and image.
Create ‘linkbait’ content
Create several content which other blogger’s can’t resist linking to. A good example of this would be writing a “Top 100 blogs” list in your niche. The authors of the blogs on your list will not be able to resist letting their readers know they are among the top 100 blogs on their theme.
However you don’t need to limit yourself to merely ego-fanning. When you can provide a lot benefit and enlightening or unique advice compose a post outlining the top 100 ways to do something. Bloggers will be thrilled to showcase that type of post to their followers.
Develop a digital download
Whether you offer an e-book, sound file, video or a simple pc application, you can find hundreds of thousands of directories eager for brand new downloads and they’re going to share your link building service. Offering something absolutely free is the greatest way to reel in new traffic. Not only will providing digital downloads allow your website to become listed in particular directories, it also produces a whole lot more organic traffic as the word of your freebies gets around in a variety of methods.
